Through patented technologies and a production process powered by renewable energy, Vortex transforms by-products such as apple scraps into certified functional ingredients. Vortex’s products offer both environmental and economic benefits for corporate clients, reducing waste disposal costs and helping to produce sustainable products without compromising quality. Among the main solutions offered are ingredients rich in antioxidants, fiber, and bioactive compounds.

Environmental and Social Impact

Vortex’s approach provides significant savings in natural resources, reducing CO₂ emissions by 74 percent and water use by 68 percent compared to traditional processes. In 2023, the company valorized more than 42,000 kg of by-products, helping to avoid food waste and creating new employment opportunities for people from disadvantaged groups.

In addition, Vortex works with local companies and communities to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability and promote the transition to a circular and regenerative production model.
