8 PARI

8pari is a social project that uses wine production as a tool for inclusion for fragile people, offering opportunities for redemption through work. The initiative aims to create a “good, clean and fair” wine that enhances the territory and the people involved.

Born from the agricultural educational activity of Progetto Emmaus, which has been active for 30 years in social inclusion in the areas of Alba, Bra, Langhe and Roero, 8pari produces quality wines through the employment of fragile people (people with disabilities, mental health disorders, refugees). The team participates in all stages of production, from growing the grapes to marketing the wine. Their business goal is to bring their model to other realities in Italy.

Products and Solutions

8pari produces quality wines such as Roero Arneis DOCG, Roero DOCG, Barbera d\’Alba DOC Superiore, Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, Barbaresco DOCG and Barolo DOCG, grown with traditional and sustainable methods in the Langa and Roero territories. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation and aging processes that guarantee an authentic, high-quality product.

The project also includes the direct sale of the wine and the organization of cultural tastings, which allow for the creation of bonds between people and spread the social mission of 8pari.

Environmental and Social Impact

8pari promotes environmental sustainability by reducing waste and enhancing the work of people with disabilities, mental health disorders and refugees. The goals of the project include social and labor inclusion, improving quality of life, decreasing marginality and promoting a humane economic model in which the economy serves people and nature.

While maintaining strong ties to the winemaking tradition, 8pari integrates modern cultivation and winemaking techniques to ensure quality and sustainability at every stage of the production process.

Team

The 8pari team is made up of a dozen or so industry professionals and social workers, united by a passion for wine and inclusion. Each member contributes to the growth of the project, bringing their experience and expertise not only in the agribusiness field, but also on a social level.
